The Emma Bridgewater Chelsea Flower Show Mug was released in 2013 to celebrate 100 years of the annual event. The mug is now a much sought-after collector’s item.
The ‘Great Spring Show’, an established event, was held for the first time at Chelsea on May 20, 1913, and soon adopted the name ‘The Chelsea Flower Show’ In the early days, the show was held in an outdoor marquee over three days.
Today the show is recognised as the world’s leading event in horticulture, with an average of 157,000 visitors annually. The world’s most prestigious flower show is held on grounds spanning 11 acres and attracts keen gardeners, landscape designers and florists.
