The Little Owl was introduced to the UK in the 19th century. Around 6000 pairs are living in the UK. They are brown, cream and white with yellow legs. Little Owls inhabit the countryside and sometimes more urban areas.
The Snowy Owl is found in the arctic, large omnivorous birds that are highly adept at catching their prey, thanks to their incredible eyesight. The Snowy Owl is white with brown speckles, as they age they get whiter.
The Tany Owl is arguably the cutest of them all and can be found in most areas of the UK with around 50000 pairs in total. The Tawny Owl has a Redish brown colouring, round head and body and dark eyes.
The Barn Owl has been on the decline in the UK. There are now only around 4000 pairs left. Although they are rare, they can be found in lots of areas of the UK and can even be spotted during the day.
Now pick your favourite Owl and get the mug to match. All Owl mugs are made from English Earthenware and are microwave and dishwasher safe.
