The Emma Bridgewater Queen, Elizabeth II Mug, Commemorates the life and work of our longest-serving and much-loved Monarch.
The design features sparer lines of spongeware design circa 1952 (the year Elizabeth became Queen) with Royal Stud Horses and Crowns. This mug is the first in a series that celebrates the Queen’s life.
From 6 February 1952 until she died in 2022, Queen Elizabeth II was the Monarch of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth countries. At the time of her death, she was the head of state of 15 realms, and during her lifetime, she had been the Queen regnant of 32 sovereign states.
Throughout her reign, the Queen took an active interest in government and politics. In addition to her ceremonial and public work, the Queen modernized many aspects of the monarchy.
During her 70-year reign, the Queen worked with 15 prime ministers, including national hero Winston Churchill, the nation’s wartime leader.
