Bodum Silicone Sleeve
Bodum travel mugs all have a rubber silicone sleeve around the body of the mug(except the cork travel mug which features a cork sleeve instead)
The sleeve acts as a non-slip grip and identifies the mug as a Bodum.

Can you use Bodum travel mugs in a dishwasher?
Bodum travel mugs are dishwasher safe (except for the cork version) as with all mugs hand washing is always more friendly than the dishwasher.
Are Bodum travel mugs safe to use in the microwave?
Bodum travel mugs are made from plastic or stainless steel you definitely cannot use stainless steel in a microwave. You can use plastic in a microwave, but it’s not recommended you put plastic Bodum travel mugs in the microwave.

The stainless steel travel mugs will keep the drink hot for a lot longer, even with the lid off.
If you want to drink your drink in a few hours after making (for example at lunchtime at work), then a stainless steel mug will be a better option
